Dr. Mark Hutchinson practices in the Department of Orthopaedics at UI Health. Dr. Hutchinson specializes in Sports Medicine, providing non-surgical care for sports and musculoskeletal injuries involving joints, tendons, ligaments, and bones. He commonly treats patients who have experienced injuries to their knees, shoulders, hips or ankles, acute or stress fractures, and joint dislocations. He is the Director of Sports Medicine and Head Team Physician for UIC Athletics.

Dr. Hutchinson has three decades of involvement with the Team USA medical team and has served at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, the 2006 Torino Paralympic Games, the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and the 2021 Beijing Olympic Games.
